Jugni speaks the truth always
Ears alert to what the hearts say
And she speaks of all she sees
Jugni unwraps all mysteries

Delhi borders flocked by lakhs
Born of the soil of the fields they plough
Varied languages n faiths they avow
Jugni is amazed in a state of ‘how?!’

This unity is the Truth

Looks like ’tis an army camping
Community kitchens aplenty blazing
Warming hearths and faces glowing
Caste nor place nor lineage asking
O my dear Pir, says Jugni
This hearth – for – all, is the Truth

Lakhs of Lalos are on one side
Just a few Bhagos on the other side
Save the fields, the generations n pride
Awakened are homes and much beside(s)
O my dear Pir, says Jugni
This awakening is the Truth

‘Addicts are they called?’ asks Jugni appalled.
Pay them no heed, for abusers abound
The fields are for sure now all risk-bound
Just as Heer was once confound
O my dear Pir, says Jugni
Will help Heer hold her ground
In the name of youth the alert I sound

Jugni pays tributes to the martyrs
With eyes misty and head bowed
For lives crushed like stalks of grass
Hands that feed us death do clasp
O my dear Pir, says Jugni
Their martyrdom is the Truth

Jugni says these folks are wise
Verses of pure love sing with pride
The spirit of Sufi saints imbibed
Dignity theirs never compromised
O my dear Pir, says Jugni
These verses are the Truth

Brave are the ones who fight for the deprived
Will hold our ground till victory’s on our side

This Victory is the Truth
